I want to have a KJV bible around as a reference, but I dont like reading it because I dont like the idea of designating an otherwise unused lexicon specifically to God’s word. This makes God’s word seem more distant, whereas this needs to be the closest thing to our minds and souls, thus the need to use a common lexicon.

After seeing this, I’m thinking all versions out there are probably nothing like the originals, which were probably completely different from the ones out today. Thank you and have a good day.

@Camel76 I guess that’s why the original 1611 KJV is loaded with occult symbolism…the name Francis Bacon ring any bells? Oh if only you christians knew…

    Psalms 12:6-7 (KJV)
6: The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7: Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

The fact that you think there are errors and contradictions proves you’re a Bible corrector and not a true child of God.

God said He would preserve His word and He has.

King James was not “gay” or anything else. I already told you Satan will try to pervert the truth and people will fall for the lies.

The Authorized KJV was edited by men who spoke at minimum 20 languages a piece.

There are no errors or contradictions.

The KJV doesn’t need any more perversion.
It’s odd that you should object to a gay angle on the NIV,
as King James was known to be a gay pedophile.
The KJV was edited to his specifications
to conform to the doctrines of the new Anglican Church.
If you want accuracy you should use Young’s Literal Translation
    or the Concordant Translation
(note that neither of these is a “version”).
But the Bible is so filled with errors and contraditctions
    and lies and nonsense
that versions are a moot point.

    @Imaginefree69

The Bible does say that it is established in Heaven.

God has one Bible not many.

The NIV, for example, had an out of the closet homosexual on the translation panel and it is a new perversion that takes a lot out of the KJV.

Satan hates the truth and is trying to pervert the Authorized KJV.

    @Camel76 Your little Bible quote
has NOTHING to do with the KJV.
    How odd…

@Camel76 Your little scripture says NOTHING about the KJV.
    Isn’t that interesting?

    @IHATEBAAL “your an idiot ”
Let’s see what we have here-
I posted seven easily verifiable facts about the Bible.
You responded, as so many Christians do,
with an insult and nothing more.
And you think you have accomplished… what?
For my part, I thank you
for showing the difference between concern and contempt,
    between reason and delusion.
    Nicely done.

The Bible says that humans are made of dirt.
And that snakes and donkeys talk.
And that insects have 4 legs.
    And that bats are birds.
And that the earth is flat.
And that the sun revolves around the earth.
And that animals appeared AFTER man but BEFORE woman.
If the the parts we can verify are false,
how can we rationally rely upon the parts that are not verifiable?
Really, the VERSION is a moot point.

There are so many errors in this presentation that I cannot list them here. I can say that every error about the KJV mentioned from Benjamin Wilkerson, through J.J. Ray…who plagiarized from him, then copied by David Otis Fuller and then spread through Independent Baptist Churches like wildfire under the guise of “defending the word of God”…is repeated here.

    Hello, Christians.
You claim to believe your Bibles,
so why don’t you attend to what it says?
Jesus himself tells you to judge teachers by their FRUIT.
Hovind is a criminal convicted on 58 separate felonies,
    including FRAUD.
Yet you embrace him as a source of truth?
    Isn’t that rather…
    well, stupid?

Maybe there were once horned creatures that are now extinct or possible that it was an elasmotherium since weird creatures are described.

@KJBman777 Research on what? Are you replying to my comment? All I am saying is just having a answer is useless, it has to be right and verifiable. Apologists have tons of excuses for everything in the bible but in the end they start sounding like lawyers defending used car salesman.

You should only use the Authorized King James Bible.

    2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

One important problem with the KJV? It thinks unicorns exist.
    Numbers 23:22
    Numbers 24:8
    etc.

Kent Hovind is a liar. No one should take anything he says seriously. Hell he lies so much that he is in prison for it.
